His special focus was Operations Research and Computer Science. After many years in research in the field of applied informatics he completed his doctorate in 1989 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with Prof. Dr. W. Stucky as a Doctor of Economic Sciences (Dr. rer. pol./Ph. D.).

Sebastian Graf, born in 1966, is Executive Vice President and board member of PROMATIS software GmbH. He has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of IT strategy, organization, business processes and information systems, as well as thorough knowledge of introducing new technologies in the setup of business software systems, web portals, integration- and collaboration solutions, workflow systems and high-traffic systems on the internet.
As an Oracle technology specialist in the sectors of database, application server and enterprise collaboration, he has many years of experience in consulting and product management within the implementation of information system solutions in an international context.
