Keeping up with the times by combining career and family!
Denver, June 7, 2019 – With the company program “Success Factor Family” (Erfolgsfaktor Familie), the Bundesfamilienministerium (German Federal Ministry for Families) is cooperating with the head associations of the German economy (BDA, DIHK, ZDH) and the Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund (Federation of German Trade Unions) to make family friendliness a trademark of German economy. Since 2007, the initiative has been steadily growing and has meanwhile gathered around 7,000 members, from micro-businesses to DAX companies. PROMATIS, specialist for intelligent business processes and Oracle digitization solutions, supports and decisively promotes the compatibility of career and family – now also as a member of the company network “Success Factor Family”.
Gathering specialists and binding them for the long-term – family friendliness has become a strong locational and competitive factor for German employers. The better parents can combine family and career, the more likely the job market will be able to provide specialists. And not only when it comes to mothers and fathers with young children: most people in Germany who are caregivers to relatives are simultaneously in employment. But family-friendly offers coming from employers also gain more significance when it comes to young aspiring specialists – all in the spirit of a healthy work-life balance.

The reservation of spots at a company kindergarten, which will be made possible in fall 2019, is another step into relieving parents who are fresh out of parental leave by offering reliable childcare. PROMATIS views this contribution of childcare less as a cost factor than as an investment into the future, one that opens market opportunities and improves the company’s competitive position through committed workers.
