Java Enterprise Applications with Oracle Technologies, .NET and Open Source

Multilayer application architectures, in which standardized and open technologies are used, have long been established in practice. PROMATIS has recognized this trend at an early stage already, and provides customers with appropriate solutions, services and products on the basis of the market leading Oracle platform. The basis is formed by the Java Enterprise Edition in connection with the Oracle Applications Development Framework (ADF).

Oracle JDeveloper 10g and ADF
With Oracle Developer 10g Oracle has introduced the Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), one of the most innovative JEE Frameworks on the market. ADF supports in Oracle JDeveloper a visual and declarative development approach and delivers pre-fabed implementations of application-infrastructures and Design Patterns. The basis is the Model-View-Controller (MVC) Pattern.

PROMATIS: The Solution Partner for ADF
PROMATIS has worked with ADF as one of the first software companies in the world. We are in the position today to use this framework optimally, due to an approved procedure model and due to additional, self-developed standard templates for often utilized functionality. We are offering a real alternative to the classic Oracle Developer (Forms or Reports), without having to deal with expansive development efforts or a lessened maintainability.

We like to emphasize especially on the integrated and holistic PROMATIS approach, in which a structured procedure is combined with state-of-the-art technology. The procedure model IQPM (Integrated Quality Process Model) supports both the classic systems analysis and a UML-based object-oriented analysis for the realization of JEE projects. Furthermore, the procedure model covers the integration of JEE objects into Enterprise Portals and/or into Workflow- or enterprise-spanning Collaboration Processes.

PROMATIS: The Partner for Open Source Solutions on Oracle
However, not only Microsoft-developers get to enjoy the strongly improved Oracle support. Oracle also reacts to the requirements on the market for Open Source Technologies. The beginning was made with the Oracle Application Server, on which PHP-scripts can be preceded very efficiently. Because then when it is all about programming dynamic websites, the script- or object-oriented development language PHP is more and more often first choice. Oracle JDeveloper 10g PHP Extension offers to PHP-developers full functionality to create, modify, and carry out PHP-scripts in the Oracle JDeveloper environment. That way he can flexibly combine PHP with other languages, such as HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL, which are supported by JDeveloper.
