Ettlingen, March 17th, 2008 – At the CeBIT 2008 PROMATIS presented its own SOA-Solution, based on Oracle products: Dynamic Business Models in Service-oriented Architectures. The PROMATIS solution is characterized by flexible business processes and business services. These are implemented onto a capable SOA (Service-oriented Architecture) or SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. When realizing the trendsetting solution concept PROMATIS as standing Oracle partner can resort to Oracle applications and technologies.
“It paid off to exhibit at the CeBIT: By deliberately deciding to concentrate the exhibition presentation on the topic Service-oriented Architectures, interested people could be concerted invited in the run-up to interviews.“ says Werner Schiessl, Manager Sales and Marketing at PROMATIS. “A lot of business visitors, who previously didn’t have any contacts to PROMATIS, were impressed from our integrated SOA-Architecture – from the business process analysis up to the technical implementation.”
First priority of PROMATIS’ SOA-Solution is called flexibility. Therefore IT-Services can be adapted to necessary changes specifically and in real-time. An agile modeling of processes and services is self-evident. Just like the seamless integration of them and the integration of master data. With Oracle WebCenter the fast and therefore productive development of services and user-interactions become true. Automated BPEL Workflows and Business Rules, in addition with a tool for transparent modeling of business activities make the solution complete.
However, the SOA-Solution was only one of PROMATIS’ highlights at this year’s trade fair. The German software company located in Ettlingen (Karlsruhe Technology region) also presented the Oracle Business Intelligence Suites that are used to build up Data Warehouses and decision-supporting systems. These are characterized by complete analytic functionalities. When speaking to customers and visitors focus was also laid on Oracle E-Business Suite with the new Release 12 and the outlook on Fusion Applications. Matching the CeBIT-slogan “Applications and Technologies from one hand” PROMATIS offered a versatile product portfolio with focus on SOA.
